SocialPilot is a social media Scheduling and Management tool that helps agencies and brands to grow their presence on social media.

The Problem Statement

SocialPilot was operating in a crowded social media management space and required SEO to maintain lower cost per acquisition and stay competitive within the industry. With Anoob heading SEO for Socialpilot, the company was able to achieve 500,000+ organic traffic primarily from the U.S and grew signups to 5000+ in a month.

The specific goals included:

• Get only targeted organic traffic for core keywords
• Drive traffic from U.S geography
• Focus on only bottom of the funnel & middle of the funnel buying stages
• Improve conversion rates on high traffic pages.

How We Approached The Solution

Scaling organic traffic from U.S geography in a crowded space required understanding of search intent and matching the intent. What we did was:

• Listicles: Focused on listicles such as “best social media scheduling tool” where buying intent was high
• Reviews of competitors: Reviewed competitors products’ with detailed information and hands-on testing
• Comparison Blogs: Created comparison blogs such as Hootsuite vs Socialpilot to target higher intent users.
• Built high quality backlinks: Teams created more than 45 high quality backlinks in a month
• Middle of the Funnel content: Focused on creating middle of the funnel content such as “best time to post on Instagram, TikTok etc. that provided information to users.

Focusing only on high intent users ensured that the website was only getting relevant traffic and the conversion rates from this traffic was always high.
